Are you in this photo?

The photo above was taken in the summer of 1981 on the recreation ground next to Clacton County High School in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex.

In the photo are 46 members of the Upper Sixth from that year. The photo must have been taken just before we started taking our exams as that's the the only way we could have guaranteed having everyone present. I say "everyone" but I think there was one person missing. Full details on the photo page.

I found this photo as I was tidying my study recently and I started to wonder what had happened to the other 45 people in the photo. There are a very small number that I have kept in touch with over the years, but most of them I haven't seen in almost thirty years.

So I decided to try and track them down. That can't be too hard, can it? I mean this is the future. We've all got email addresses and everyone is on Facebook - aren't they? Let's find out.

And that's what this site is all about. I'm trying to get in touch with as many of these people as possible. If you're in this photo, or you know how I can get in touch with someone in this photo then please get in touch.

I've given myself until the end of the next school year (July 2011) to find as many of them as possible. That will be the 30th anniversary of the photo being taken. That's about eighteen months away.
